10 Years on from the Millenium - A Second Village Photograph
Saturday 25th September - Tackley Village Hall Playing Field.
Many of you will remember that we had a village photo taken ten years ago to mark the millennium. It has just been cleaned and will be back in the village hall shortly.
It seemed timely to take another photo, ten years on, to mark the last decade and all the achievements we have made. As we are holding an Open Energy Day at the Village Hall on 25th September, as part of the Tackley Green Streets project, it gives us the opportunity to combine the two (fingers crossed for sunshine).
More details will follow nearer the time.

Oxfordshire Theatre Company - Alice in Wonderland
by Neil Duffield
Sunday 5th December - 4:00pm, Tackley Village Hall
Long ago on a golden afternoon, in the city of dreaming spires, a boat set out along the Thames, on a trip to Wonderland…
A brand new musical version of this much loved magical adventure. From the tranquillity of a sunny Oxford riverbank, an inquisitive Alice will lead audiences down the rabbit hole into a mysterious wonderland of the imagination. Discover curious creatures, puzzling people and unravel marvellous mathematical mysteries as you join Alice on her quest to find out who really stole the Queen of Hearts jam tarts! In a world where nothing is quite as it seems, but everything is just as it is, you never know who'll pop up next on a trip to Wonderland...
Written by Neil Duffield, the 2006 winner of the Arts Council England Children's Award 'for work which displays excellence, inspiration and innovation in children's theatre', the new version of this intriguing Oxford-based tale, combines puppetry, song and dance.
