Energy Saving Articles

Below are some articles produced by United Sustainable Energy Agency (USEA), which can help you save energy and save money - information on how we can all reduce the effects we have on the environment.

USEA was created by the merger of Milton Keynes Energy Agency & Thames Valley Energy Centre in May 2008. USEA works in partnership with local authorities throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. In 2008, USEA was awarded a new contract with the Energy Saving Trust to operate an Energy Saving Trust advice centre for the South East. The centre provides impartial energy saving advice to the residents of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Green Streets in Tackley
British Gas has made £2m available as part of its Green Streets programme, to invest in innovative energy projects in Great Britain's communities. They are encouraging local residents, businesses and community groups to apply to Green Streets with their project ideas that will help them to save and generate energy locally as well as engaging their wider community, with a chance to win a further £100,000 at the end of the competition.
