Welcome to Tackley Playground. A place where children of all ages and abilities can play together and have lots of fun!
Opened in June 2014, this playground has everything a child could wish for – because they designed it! Packed full of challenging and exciting equipment, including a zip wire, basket swing, bespoke combine harvester, sensory panels, ground level trampoline, dual slide, ground level roundabout and level access to all the equipment; there really is something for everyone. Tackley is proud to be bringing inclusive play to Oxfordshire. So come along and have some fun!

he playground was officially opened by David Cameron, MP who said:
“What you have done here is so important. You have created a great community facility that everyone can make the most of and benefit from. This playground will bring pleasure to children and their families for many years to come.”
The playground is adjacent to the Village Shop, right in the centre of Tackley and next to the village hall car park. There is level access, disabled parking in the village carpark and disabled toilet facilities accessed via the Shop during opening hours.
